Hello all,

With temperatures rising everywhere day by day, we are all waiting eagerly for the monsoons! Everybody loves to get showers of rain after a blistering summer. Rain is not the result of a single day — after four months of heat, we finally get showers as a blessing. Similarly, success is not achieved in a single day but is a continuous journey of efforts.

It is the same as doing hard work for months and then one fine day receiving an award — it makes you feel “I have done it.” A smile of satisfaction on the face motivates us to walk one more mile toward the next milestone.

Apart from our regular on-the-spot awards, Mitesh organised an intriguing and informative session — “Innovative Technical Appearance”. We had a great response with 25 participants in total. Although in today’s era of information technology we are all aware of the latest happenings in the world and especially in technology, such presentations on innovative topics give a platform to share new ideas. It also helped many Decosians improve their presentation skills and overcome stage fear. There have been professional trainings conducted on improving presentation and communication skills. I must say this is a step toward creating a dynamic Decosian alongside an intelligent technical brain.

Along with awards, appreciating individuals and teams is very important. Bhushan Patil shares the success story of his team — don’t forget to read it.

Celebration is always welcome, and this month we have 15 birthdays to celebrate! So, a chocolate every alternate day?

I am happy to say that the “Bringing Minds Together” section that we launched last month has received an immense response. In the last release, it was the most-visited page. This time we have Sanket sharing his experience — I am sure we will all enjoy reading it.

Finally, let’s welcome 3 new members to our Decos family. It’s growing every month.

Thanks,

Subodh Patil
